No charge for taxes have been taken and companion seat

So I booked 2 single tickets from LHR to MCO about 4 weeks ago then about a week ago I rang to book the return flight but instead of returning from MCO returning from LAX.
This was fine and was told because we are flying back premium there are some additonal taxes to pay. So I gave my VCC number over and she said the payments gone through and it's all accepted. However there is no transaction on my account for these additonal taxes? Yet my reservation shows the return flight in premium. Do you know why this is?
Also we are due to earn another companion voucher in Dec 24 / January 25, can I upgrade using this voucher to upper-class for both of us one way from premium? The tickets I will be upgrading is a premium seat paid for with points and a premium seat paid for by a different companion voucher. (I'm also a red flying club member).
