I am going out of my mind!! Please can someone help me.

I booked select vouchers many months ago, dates weren't perfect and the inbound meant i was on a different flight to my wife and daughter. Using the ITA matrix, and double checking on the Virgin website I found Class Z tickets which we could all travel together.

The number on the vouchers is 03442094711. But now its impossible to speak to anyone to change them. 4 hours on hold yesterday to then get cut off. Called back and through immediately, to be told I got connected to the wrong department, despite following the correct options.

Been up since 6am, 3 hours hold, cut off, now another 2.5 hours on hold.

Previous emails to customer service suggested the online chat, which of course never works.

Does anyone have another number that deals with vouchers, advice, tips or suggestions to be able to make the changes??

I used chat last week and was only in a queue for half and hour and the agent was very helpful and sorted my upgrades using vouchers and points

Give chat a try you might be pleasantly surprised

Thanks will try again on the chat, but often find it says "We apologize but something unexpected happened. Please try again later."

seems to work better on the mobile, but when trys to connect to an adviser nothing happens and times out

I also have waited (45 mins twice), Phillipines not trained to deal with Vouchers so transfered back to 'someone who could deal with it' (ie back to the start!)

Chat non-existant on my booking.

Try 0344 209 2722 I got Welsh lady working from home - She had to put me on hold and found out that their new way to deal with Companion Vouchers was to add the points needed for you flight and then add the vousher to the booking - which then removes those points just added.

Seems my firewall was the initial issue with the chat and was blocking it. After an hour of waiting got through on my mobile, but the lag in the chat meant the advisor couldnt see my messages and disconnected.

Eventually got through on my desktop pc, again about an hour of patience. To then be told the rewards I wanted to book werent available. We went back and forth, I sent a screen shot showing their website showing 4 Z fares available and it was only after 30 minutes of the chat the advisor then said I was right all along, their system was showing the wrong availability and they missed something!

Not quite sure what happened their end, but finally after months of trying to rebook and get all 4 of us on the same flights we have UC rewards to LAX and back booked from red select vouchers. Not bad in the end getting these flights, as compensation from being bumped out of UC into PE flying back from Miami 2 years ago.

I use Edge and never get the chat option but have worked out why. Go to the Virgin Atlantic home page, then top left click the little padlock icon and then "permissions for this site" then allow "Pop-ups and redirects" and "Intrusive ads". Refresh the VS website and it appears on the relevant contact page.

I had the same issue on the Telegraph comments, they would not load with "intrusive ads" blocked
