Access to Heathrow Lounge

I am wondering if anyone is on the early VS05 flight on 2 May 2025. We booked our flights with points but unfortunately was only able to grab a PE on our outward bound flight. Think this may have been due to F1 happening in Miami that weekend. Is there anyone who would be kind enough to extend a Lounge invite for 2 people? Thank you for taking the time to read this request. Fingers cross in anticipation.

I think you used to be able to pay for entry on the day if in PE at the discretion of the duty manager/lounge capacity.

Maybe someone has a recent anecdote of if this is still the case? The lounge is a lot busier than it used to be ...

That is correct, but in the morning you will struggle as its often so busy nowadays. Late afternoon however, it'll be a different story.

We are travelling to DXB on the late flight 22.10 in January. Is it worth asking for paid access at the door ? We are traveling in PE.

Thanks,

Steve

I'd say yes, it's worth asking. In fact, I'd be surprised if you were denied I think.

I don't know what the entry fee is though these days. As a guide, I paid for my 2 kids to enter with me when flying PE and it was £25 each kid. I'd expect the adult fee to be treble that, ish. We entered around lunchtime and it was all very routine, there didn't seem to be any question about capacity at all and it will be even quieter when you enter. There is a defined price list in the agents drawer, but I didn't get a good enough look at the rates unfortunately.
