Wow, this is a hidden gem.

Sure, LAX has its own Clubhouse now (i'll be sampling that later in the week hopefully), but I hadn't realised that VS Upper Class connecting through LAX get access to the Delta One Lounge situated between T2/T3. Golds cannot use this lounge (but I assume can use the CH, need to check). Golds can use the Sky Club if on a connecting flight, per the usual rules.

This place is AMAZING. Its quiet, unlike the zoo's that makeup the Sky Clubs or other US Airline domestic lounges.

WiFi is decent, enough for YouTube, emails etc.

Food menu is premium. Drinks are complimentary too.

The seating areas are really nice. This whole place is Clubhouse vibes, well worth a visit if you're connecting through LAX.

Definitely worth a visit if connecting through LAX when flying Upper.

As per other Delta One lounges, It's available to VS Upper Class ticketed pax. Anyone flying from LAX in Upper Class on VS can also use the Delta Sky Way / Delta Wing for checking in which is located between T2 & T3. VS check-in is located in T2.

The whole VS & DL ground service options really need better co-ordinating at LAX. It should all be merged like it is at JFK.

Flying back from LAX in UC in December. Told my partner we will check in at the Delta Private check in at T3, spend a good 1-2 hours at the D1 Lounge, and the make our way to the new UC Lounge to try that out.

I hope Delta brings out more D1 lounges at some key locations: ATL, MCO, MIA

The next Delta One lounge is due to open at SEA later this year. ATL and MCO are getting existing lounge renovations / extensions. More details here.
