V-Flyer

I have only just realised that they changed the rules so that you need to have flown the outbound leg now before the expiry date on reward vouchers. It also looks like they have applied this rule retrospectively to older vouchers earned pre October 2024.

I was really banking on being able to use my June 24 voucher to book flights for Summer 26 but ideally we would be travelling after the expiry date. Does anyone know if they are strictly enforcing the new rule on outbound travel? Cheers

Yes they are enforcing the new rule, I tried to book a September flight using a voucher that expires the end of July and they said it won’t be valid. They referred me to the T&cs which does state you have to fly outbound within the validity of the voucher

Cheers, I suspected this was the case but it is a total pain as you can't influence which month the vouchers hit your account!

The regulation change was only recently announced to me as well. We had different expectations at the time, so it seems a little unfair that they are applying it to older vouchers.
