So I'd read about most of the potential new stuff coming up, but only just looked at the email that Virgin have sent out, and I had not clocked the point below - all I can say is that if history of website and app updates is anything to go by, we should all be very afraid!!!!!

I take it you’re being sarcastic as this is great news

The current app works and does most things I need it to. The only thing missing IMHO is proper bag tracking so that would be a nice addition.

I’d like to be able to change booking in app like Delta. Hope they include that. Plus changing reward bookings. Cash booking it works, but not for rewards.
I’ve noticed they now offer ecredits just like delta if you change cash booking and lower fare (minus change fee).
But I guess as taxes vary so much when changing it might be hard for them to do, unless changes resulting in lower taxes would go to ecredit or similar. To be then used to upgrade/ pay for seat etc.

I think the booking change is evolving / rolling out steadily as VS haven’t even announced this is now available yet. I guess it will include reward flights at some point?

The change booking workflow is already looking much more refined than it did when it was first spotted so it’s clearly work in progress.

I don’t see any real reason why VS can’t offer anything DL already offer as after all they do use the same reservation platform.

Hi Oliver, I wasn't really, every time they 'improve' the app or the website something either seems to go backwards or go wrong!

I know what you mean. I do however think the app will be very very similar to the app of Delta.
Virgin have even started offering the same type of ecredits as Delta and manage booking portal is the same (changing cash booking online).
I’m sure in between now and end year they will be doing a lot of testing

Fingers crossed, life would be so much simpler if we could do everything on an app/online rather than calling up. There have been years when I swear I have dreams about the songs that you get on hold with flying club!

Now the vouchers are worth a flat 75000/150000 points it would be good if you could book them online
