Points sale with move to dynamic pricing?

As I didn't book a flight last year I can't remember if Virgin still do a points sale now that they have moved to dynamic points prices? I have a vague sense that there was one at some stage but I wasn't paying a great deal of attention!
Please can anyone sort out the gap in my memory? Cheers.

I think they did an economy point sale earlier this year.
But right now they do have points buy sale !! And ends this evening and they have increased the limit to 400k!

Cheers. We are struggling with our return flight MCO-MAN next year but I thought this may be the case. Usually we go a little later and return around the 8th Sept but due to work commitments next year we are travelling more at peak times and so far there is nothing vaguely attractive around our dates - not when I have 5 people to cover anyway!
I will keep looking, also looking at coming back from ATL so hopefully there will be something eventually, even if it is in EC (not done that for a while but apparently now people are getting a whole row to themselves as no one wants EC!)

I would wait a few weeks (but check daily), as i often find with MCO whether LHR or MAN its very expensive when released and then they drop.
8th Sept - schools should have gone back so good chance of lower point seats.

Hi!!
Tuesday 8 September - ATL-MAN UC is 47,500 points. Possibly be worth booking if you have the points. All other days are very expensive

Thanks for all of your help here, I am trying to hold my nerve a bit for something earlier but not easy! Two of the kids are looking for their first graduate job and they are nervous about moving the dates to come back that late.
I have found some decent PE availability if we fly back to LHR - from JFK, Boston and Washington which are all options for an extra few days but last time we flew to LHR and got a car service back home we needed a week to recover, and that was when we'd flown in UC!
