Points booster and Atlanta lounges

I normally do the points booster by calling after we have flown, but please can anyone clarify if I do it before the flights happen, will we receive the points then or only after we have taken the flights?

Also, for a bonus question! I've heard some fairy unflattering things abut the Atlanta lounges, but wondered how they compared to the awful one at MCO? We are flying home UC from Atlanta with a connection from MCO which I have yet to book - is it worth avoiding a tight connection to use any of the lounges, or should we not bother? Cheers

Points booster normally shows a few days after your outbound flight.

The lounges at ATL are a big improvement over MCO, no doubt about that. But none of them are worth making extra time for in my opinion. And they can get very crowded, like most sky clubs these days. Lines can form in the evening at the international sky club as well.

For me, the best thing available in any of the ATL lounges is having a drink on the outside terrace in the international sky club (as long as the weather suits) and plane watching.

Thanks Matt, possibly a daft question but where is the international lounge, is it is easy to find when transferring domestic to international? Cheers

Every concourse has at least 1 SkyClub lounge at ATL. The international one is upstairs in the concourse F which is the same concourse you will be departing from. You can use any of the SkyClub lounges though. Some are better than others but none of them come close to the VS Clubhouse.
