V-Flyer

Hey all,
My friend is looking to go vegas for his wife’s 40th next march and I may consider going out. I tend to book UC which helps for the long haul flights but is there any chance they’ll update to new planes for that route any time soon? I refuse to spend out for the coffin style planes where other airlines will have better spec to a certain degree.
I wanted to think over my options to either stick with virgin or try another air line for march 2027

Id not book if the 'coffin' seats make it not worth it to you. I have a flight to YYZ booked for this year in upper, Booked with a 787 on the route, then changed to a 339, now it's a A350.

It’ll be the 787. I’d personally fly BA with their club suites LHR-LAS.

Even into 2027 they’d use the old 787? I’m shocked they won’t update this route because what they charge for them seats are still! I had considered BA for their suites. Are they newer planes? I’ve only ever done first with ba to Chicago

VS will be updating the 78’s from 2028.

BA are newer yeah, A350s and a very good hard product. The soft product however…

IMHO, those A333 / B789 VS seats are still by far the best when in bed mode. They blow all other VS J seats out the water for width and flatness when in bed mode.

All VS aircraft also have air vents and reading lights above all seats unlike the BA A350's.

From Manchester they tend to use the A350 to Vegas has been my experience recently
