If you already have the existing VS app, it won’t update to the new version.

You need to download a complete new version of the app from your App Store. The iOS version is available here.

I’ve just downloaded it. My tier point balance is wrong!

Mine too. It's showing the rolling 12 month total, but this is not how renewal is calculated is it? Making this a little useless?

It's really a glorified version of the website. Most things just link to the regular webpages found through a browser.

To say it's been in development for so long, it's rather poor in that sense.

Must say. Very disappointed with the new app. Not being able to book flights or search for flights directly (as old app) as it’s just a pop up to the desktop website.

To say this has been in the works for a long time, very disappointed.
Even more so that I’m logged in on the app but then to search or to book reward seats I have to sign in again.
Hope they improve this.

All this fuss to go live with it, just to beat BA. Wish they would have held back and made it so much better even if it would only go live after BA

Apparently VS also still don't offer iOS 26 live activity boarding passes yet either

I'm still hoping for full bag tracking (like DL and many others have offered for years now).

Exactly right. It's adding up all flights flown within the past 12 months, rather than just looking at your current membership year. Great if your are Red or Silver, as that gives you a heads-up how close you are to Silver or Gold, however, it's useless if you are already Gold wanting to know where your are in terms of the number of TP's required to keep Gold.

Interesting review on Hfp, not nearly as scathing as expected, unlike most of the comments on the review!

I tend to take stuff I read on HfP and all other online sites with pinch of salt. I prefer to make my own mind up about things

I've just downloaded the new app and when I login it's telling me my account is on pause and to contact customer services

Luckily the old app still works fine so I'm just going to stick with that for now as I have a trip coming up next month. I am wondering if there are some compatibility issues between it and iOS26.

Works fine, I've just read on other forums some people having the same message when trying to login, hopefully it will just rectify itself at some point!

My TP balance is also totally wrong, which is a shame as it currently says I'm very close to renewing gold (which is sadly not the case).

App has started working for me today, e-mailed me a code when I tried to login.

I like the 'Account' section, looks more polished than the old one

My Trips section seems to have gone backwards a bit, upgrade offers no longer displayed without going in and selecting another seat. I'd argue it doesn't look all that better than the old one.

This just feels overall like a website designed for a smartphone rather than an app.

If it’s anything like the website, logging in using your FC account number instead of your email bypasses that email code step.

After the latests VS app update, my tier point balance is now alined with my membership year and so now matches the website.

Just completed Flyready even though it’s not mandatory.

Checked on new app and it even tells me the name of the plane I’m flying on. Jane Air. Obviously subject to change for operational reasons but cool new touch.

I use both as I like the live widget from the old app. Shame that isn't in the new app.

In the latest app update you can now add your Virgin Holiday booking.

It’s great. Intertwined with VHols.

In Vs app it shows the itinerary, hotel, outstanding balance, flights, car rental.

You can then click to view tickets, and takes you to the VHols manage my booking platform without need to enter booking confirmation , last name & Dob
