13-Hour Layover in LHR - Any Place to Snooze?

Hi all--will be traveling MIA-LHR-JNB next week in UC and have a lovely 13-hour layover at LHR. Am planning on meeting friends in London for an early lunch, but know I will be in the throes of jet lag by 3 PM or so when I head back to LHR for the 9 PM flight. Between Arrivals and the Clubhouse, are there any truly quiet snooze zone areas where one can get some real sleep? If not, any suggestions (airport hotel rooms with special day rates)? Many thanks!
Jim

just ask someone on the reception desk to rouse you for you flight, then find an empty high back club chair and doze off - you could be in St James

Radisson Edwardian on Bath road has day rooms not sure of the price.I think I would just head for the clubhouse after lunch and get my head down there.

Spoke to Radisson £69.33 inc VAT 10:00-18:00 for a day room - includes full use of Gym.
Suggest trying the Ibis as their full night rate is not much more! (

The clubhouse has those big leather double bed type things. It may not be private, but they are comfortable. The library area where they are is usually the quietest part of the clubhouse, with not much passing traffic.
The conservatory has less comfortable chairs and could also be fairly empty.

Thanks everyone. Went online and checked out some of the airport hotels for day rates, but think I'll simply test out some of those leather chairs in the Club House.
