Car Parking at MAN

Help please!!! I'm sure that with the wealth of knowledge on this forum, someone will be able to help me.
In the past, whenever I have flown VS from MAN T2, I have used a car park just around the corner (2 or 3 minutes walk)from the terminal. This meant that I could deposit the current Mrs Treelo (with luggage) at the terminal, drive to the car park and walk back in less than 10 mins for the whole operation.
Not having used T2 for 2 or 3 years - we've gone from LGW instead - I now find that this car park seems to have dropped off the list of available parking at MAN. It really was so convenient - less hassle than getting on and off a bus with luggage and cheaper than the multi storey - that I would love to use it again when we fly from MAN/MCO in May next year.
Any advice will be warmly welcomed. Thanks.

Hi,
The nearest car park I can think of (apart from the obvious on-airport multi-storey) is Premier Park, which is not far from T3.
There is a detailed map of the MAN area
here.
This shows the location of the PP - is it the one you were referring to?
Cheers,
Sahajesh.

Hi Sahajesh,
Thanks for the reply mate, but the Premier car park is totally different. The care park I am talking about is just, only just round the corner from T2. In fact you can see T2 from the car park. Directions: come out of T2 arrivals, turn left. Go to roundabout, take first left. Go to T junstion and hang a right. Go to next T junction and hang a left. The car entrance is then dirfectly ahead of you about 25 metres away.
Ring any bells with anyone[?]:)

I'll be at MAN in a couple of weeks (collecting not flying [:(]) so I can check if it's still there if you want.
The only one I've used that's in the area is Carminder 2 but it's not the one you mean.
Cheers,
Sahajesh.

the best place to park at MAN is behind the long stay car park - drive round the back of it alongside the runway, and the garage is on the right hand side - cheaper than MAN's prices and even better, they take you to the airport in your own car, clean it, and pick you up in it - even thwe 3am monach flights

just ring them when you land and your own car is waiting for you near the taxi rank - just give the guy a lift back. Really flexable as well - you do need to book, just cant remember the name or number - ill sms my dad, uses them every other week

When I lived back in Bradford, I used to use Security Park Manchester - they were excellent. Apparently they're now called APH - their (not very informative) website is at

I have always had someone drive me to the airport in the past but for next year I have decided to drive myself and park there (at Manchester).
What's everyone's view of the Permier Park at MAN? As this looks the most promising as I want on-airport parking and don't mind the extra price for this.

Hi Keith
The reason I started this thread was to try and find out if the car park at Sydney Ave 9literally 3 or 4 minutes walk from T2) was still available. There has been a refurb there and, as I understand it, the car park is still there but I cannot find it anywhere on any car parking site so that I can book it. It really was (is?) the most convenient site for T2.
Last time we flew from MAN T2(May 04) I parked in the multi storey but it would seem that the price for this facility has increased by some £30 to book for the same period next year.
I have used Premier in the past - they're OK if you hit it right and get to the stop as the bus arrives. Took me 20 mins to get to their car park last time. Good luck!
