Can anyone help?

I am flying to Orlando in December from Manchester and I am keen to find out what aircraft I will be flying on.

Having looked at information on this web-site there is no current data available and think that the aircraft currently used maybe leaving the fleet?

Does anyone know if the current service from MAN operates 747-200 or 400 aircraft?

Some reviews I have found say the 747-200 service is poor?

Many thanks

Ian,
Firstly Welcome to V-Flyer!

I found this info by doing a search on man

MAN flights:
VS75/76 MAN-MCO-MAN 742 daily except Mon
VS73/74 MAN-MCO-MAN 744 Fri/Sat 05/11/04 - 13/11/04

So most flights are on a 747 200 with some on a newer 747-400

Virgin Plan to replace these 200 series in Spring next year as they are the oldest in the fleet.

The planes themselves look a bit more tired than London based metal but in terms of service there wont be much difference especially in economy.

The good thing about man routes is Club Orlando; basically an UC seat for £150 more than PE.. This option isnt available to us Londoners although Club Orlando doesnt offer the Upper Class service.

Next year Full UC service will be available from man in much newer ac

If you search in the photo Gallery putting a 200 in the aircraft search you can see pics of the planes you'll likely fly on
