I'm traveling to LHR from LAX on Virgin, and although I've been a regular, I've never purchased and Upgrade.

I'm going from LAX to LHR to LAX in mid-March 2004 and want to upgrade to a Upper Class - what is the least expensive means and how much will it cost?

Also are the new sleeper suites operating on LAX to LHR on a daily basis on the 747?

Hi James and welcome aboard,

To take the second part of your question first, it is doubtful that the Suites will be operating on the LAX-LHR-LAX route during March, not impossible, but doubtful - you may be lucky.

Now as far as puchasing an upgrade to UC is concerned, I would contact Virgin Atlantic in the first instance, their US office is in CT call 203-750-2000.

Others may have further advice for you on this point.
