V-Flyer

The aircraft currently scheduled for the VS19 on the 6th January is an Airbus 300. I hope they get G-VROC back from Dublin in time to put it on this route!

I'm on the VS19, and TBS is on the VS20 when this aircraft returns to London on the same day!

I was told when I booked the ticket it was a 747-400 and got offered the Upper Deck ( I chose 3k)

This will make it both flights to/from SFO on the Airbus 340-300 as VS 19on 1st Jan is also the 340.

Let us hope that more people choose the flight and it gets upgraded to the 747-400 ( pref with the UCS if G-VROC is ugraded):)

As the SFO Clubhouse is landside, if you are out of customs/immigration fairly quickly and you have some time if you head up to the clubhouse on level 5 , I could sign you in for a few minutes ( as we wouldc only get called around 45mins prior to departure to cleare security ie around 4pm I would think)

I was on the phone to the VS FC Premier team this afternoon and the VS 20 on the 6th Jan 2004 ( therefore VS 19 on the 6th Jan) is a non- Suite equipped 747-400 [:(]

My outbound flight is now on the 3rd, but unfortunately that means a 340-300... Ah well. My return on the 10th is still scheduled as a suite-equipped 747, so keeping my fingers crossed!

The VS 19/20 on 6th Jan was in fact G-VWOW (Cosmic Girl) with Vport but no suites[:(]

Pity you didn't get to try the suite but I guess v:port helped the time pass .

I got back today - on G-VTOP. Probably one of the best flights of my life, not only because of the Suites but also because of the excellent crew on board. A full report once I've got back in the swing of the time zone!
