I wanna know how you have the time! While I make the effort to be at LHR early to enjoy the Clubhouse, having the time for a hottub session too is, well, too much! I reckon VS is going to find more and more people missing their flights... [:I]

You are a glutton for punishment. The GF isn't with me on this occasion so I shall be able to sneak a few snaps in I am sure.

To be honest, unless you bother reading the map (or have a guided tour like I did), you would not know about the hot tub and some of the other health amenities, as they are tucked away behind the Cowshed treatment area.
Thanks,
Richard

I think Honeylamb and Highflyer should be our ambassadors for the hot tub christening, repleate with V-Flyer tags and photos...

Boys, form an orderly queue.... the interviews are being held at LHR, but if you book a flight over to JFK, thats where the queue currently ends....

Thanks,
Richard

Oh, I'm game alright. The only problem will be that when I get in the displacement of water will be so great that the Clubhouse will be flooded and the water will come cascading down that beautiful staircase! [:0]:D

Dutch courage is not needed at all. The hot tub is so tucked away that unless someone really wants to find it, they will definitely not come accross it. You are more exposed if you choose to use the shower opposite the hot tub and sauna.
Someone needs to recreate Jeremy Clarkson's article. Pic of someone in hot-tub with mobile phone !!:D

Just one question, do you take your own swimsuit if so must be fun if they check your bags on boarding as sometimes happens! How do you explain a wet swimsuit!!
Just a thought:)!

Someone mentioned earlier that there are facilities to dry swimming gear off

We need a picture that recreates the Jeremy Clarkson article. Man in hot tub with mobile phone to ear!:D
The hot tub is in such a secluded spot that unless you really make an attempt to find it, you wont. So no Dutch courage needed really especially for late afternoon flights when the entire Clubhouse is not really that full.

I recommend you try the hut tub if you have time in the clubhouse, just for the bizzareness of the experience.
We took our own shorts, and there is one of those spinny things that get them touch dry in about 5 seconds.
Its nice and relaxing back there behind the waterfall window. I don't know what useage is but guessing its not used all that much, but still is a very nice facility to have in the clubhouse. I will deffo use it again next time I'm there.
Don't be shy, give it a try

Dean
