Do I get miles for buying ticket for someone else?
Posted: 06 Oct 2005, 19:32I have bought flights for me and girlfriend; and out my FC number in both boxes. Do I get the miles and TP for both people, or just my own??

Posted: 06 Oct 2005, 20:36Don't think you will be able to amalgamate the points in the future, but you will be able to buy tickets on a 50-50 or 75-25 split from both accounts.

As Dave says, you should refer her using Miles More Friends and hopefully get bonus miles if her ticket is in the right fare class - then get her FC number in the booking. Unfortunately, you won't be able to amalgamate the two accounts, but (like Nick says) you'll be able to split a reward ticket from both accounts in those %ages (also mentioned here)
