V-Flyer

I know this may be misplaced (as it's mainly about Delta), but I've got 23k miles in my Delta skymiles account - does anyone know if there's anything I can do on VS with them?

Ie. 20k will do a one way from PE to UC (with right ticket) - could I book a VS flight through Delta and use the Delta miles? (even I reckon that's impossible)

Or is that an over logical, easter eating, red wine drinking, moment of obscure logisitics?

You can only earn VS miles on your DL account. I would really like to know when you can earn DL Elite Miles from VS flights - does anyone know?
