Don't think anyone has posted a picture before.
Our renewal packs dropped through the door this morning a little bit more substantial than the previous offerings certainly much better than the *A status match packs and the BA offering.

I just didn't understand the blank notepad... apart from that it looks very nice yes!

I keep it tucked down by the side of the driver's seat in the car. It is very useful for making a note of all those brilliant ideas I have when driving up and down the M3.

My renewal pack arrived today too - I do like the logbook idea, and the "for everyone who loves to fly" handbook looks very much like a cut-down V-book [:0]. Still, overall very impressive, and the dark purple mailing box looked so cool sticking out of my letterbox

I do get your drift though. Let me run through the procedure. Right knee to steering wheel, pen in right hand, book on left thigh, mobile pushed to left ear with left shoulderÉ.. that still leaves one hand free to gesticulate at other drivers with. WhatÕs the problem?

I had my sliver renewal pack through last month, and thought it was a little slimmer than last year.

One noticebale thing was the lack of a strap in the kit to attach to the luggage tag.

Was this included in the Au pack (cant see it in the photo..)?

Nope - Well, certainly not in mine earlier this year.

(I actually preferred the old red "rope" style ones, but these aren't given in the packs any more either [n])

Theory being "it's a renewal - you have the straps already" . Does seem a teeny bit penny pinching though... speaking of that must check the store for tags... seem to be losing mine!

There were two in mine tucked inside the rectangular tube at the top and bottom of the right hand side page. Maybe I got them because I'd just reached gold

No straps last year either and we only ever got one of the red ones about 3 years ago(bmi still issue these rope straps but in blue).

One day I will have one. I can dream. Congrats JP. [:I]

I'm staring at two brand new luggage straps but I can't remember whether they arrived with my Au renewal or the replacement tags that I ordered when one was damaged at MCO.

If you need more tags or straps just phone up and ask.

I requalified and got the straps - in the tubes top and bottom.

BMI are currently matching library cards, let alone legit. FFP's. A VS Ag will get you BMI/*S. Just fax a copy of your statement to them, with covering note.

(Devalues my genuinely earned *G, but hey - they're going to rats, anyway...)

I got the BMI AU card about 4 months ago on some BMI promotion the others LH, Thai and United have been through the *A status matches of the last 2 years.All of these promos would have matched an Ag card also.The BA lot were not very pleased as an BAEC Ag card is a fair bit harder to obtain than the VS one:D.I have not flown on any of them since they sent me the cards,the LH red leather tags are quite nice:D
