On SQ F you can, and according to the v-flyer book you can on J as well.
Cheers

ISTBC, but I'm afraid I don't think you can.[:#] It is only for VS an BMI ticket holders as far as I am aware. Even with a gold card, you still need a VS/BMI boarding pass.
Edited as the info I gave was incorrect.

Here's the official policy;
SINGAPORE/VIRGIN LOUNGE AGREEMENTS
As a result of our partnership deal with Singapore Airlines, agreements have been made to enable passengers traveling on both airlines to use each other's lounges.
Passengers will have a choice of which lounge they would like to use. No invitation is required, only a valid boarding card for travel that day - providing they fall into the following categories:
1. Lounge use for SQ passengers in VS Clubhouses
LHR, LGW, IAD, JNB, HKG, NRT
The Virgin Clubhouses listed above may be used by:
Any SQ passenger traveling in First or Business Class.
Passengers holding Solitaire, PPS Club or Krisflyer Elite Gold membership cards who are traveling in `Y' Class with SQ, `W' Class with VS and `Y' Class with VS.
EWR
The EWR Clubhouse may only be used by:SQ First Class passengers and Solitaire card holders. (Regardless of class of travel.)
2. Lounge use for VS passengers in SQ Lounges
LHR, AMS, JNB, HKG, NRT, KIX, BKK, PEN, SEL, TPE, MNL, SYD, BNE, MEL, PER
The lounges listed above may be used by any VS Upper Class passenger and any Gold Card member regardless of class of travel.
RESTRICTIONS
No guests are permitted.
Arrangement does not apply to staff of either airline.
Operational hours of the lounges will not alter.
So yes, if you're travelling on business class with SQ, you can use the Clubhouses in LHR, LGW, IAD, JNB, HKG & NRT

BTW, for the bmi thing;
Bmi British Midland Lounge agreement
flying club gold members ONLY, are invited to the London Heathrow bmi british midland business lounge at international gate 14, when traveling with bmi and regardless of ticket type.
And Revivals
REVIVALS
Singapore Airlines passengers traveling First Class on SQ322 SIN-LHR are able to use the Revivals Lounge.
flying club gold passengers are also able to use this when traveling in any class, providing they have a Virgin Atlantic ticket. (No guests allowed with this offer)

Hi all,
This poses an interesting question for me - I'm flying in Raffles Class tomorrow, so I could use either the Virgin CH or Singapore Airline's own lounge by the sound of it.
General comparisons between the two, anyone?

I suspect the Virgin Clubhouse is the way to go?

Not been to the SQ one for ages but from what I have read about it go to the clubhouse,or get there early and have a look at both and tell us what the SQ lounge is like now.

CH CH CH CH CH CH CH CH CH

.
I went to the CH, spent some time there (got a haircut) and then checked out the F lounge, CH beats the heck out of it.
(But they don't call SQ flights).
Cheers

SQ flights are on the screens though. And yes, the CH beats the SQ lounge assuming that the CH is not full.

Looks like CH it is, then!

Do SQ Business Class tickets give you access to the Spa treatsments, haircuts etc? Or is that a Virgin ticket / Gold card privilege only?

bmi again

Does this mean I cannot use the VS lounge at LGW with BMI Gold and flying PE with VS?. I asked BMI and they said it should be ok.[?]

Same old question with a different spin....I am travelling in J with Sq next Thursday on the 321, understand no more access to clubhouse, is there any way round this (save buying a vs ticket) I was thinking along the lines of a) checking in at a vs counter b) paying an entry fee (not sure if this is possible. c) any suggestion warmly welcomed which will be rewarded accordingly. Thanks, mshn.

If you are travelling on a SQ ticket you'll need to use their check-in. If you try at the VS area, you'll be redirected back.
Travelling on a J ticket, you should have access to the Kris Silver lounge.

I paid for clubhouse access at the entrance on Sept 2nd. They asked if we were travelling PE (which we were). Think it just depends how busy they are, we were VS3 on a bank holiday so no problem. Always worth asking the question.

ISTBC but I believe the paid entry to the Clubhouse was only available to those travelling on a VS operated flight.

Correct.
Access to the Clubhouse is only open to passengers travelling on a VS ticket and VS metal that day.
You can see who has access
