No I dont remember seeing that anywhere. Its going to be a very smart lounge. Knock the spots off most others.

Phase 2 will be most welcome though, the current phase 1 only lounge doesnt quite feel big enough.

Fantastic!! Some confirmed dates would be nice if they ever care to release them, Spring is so vague.

Looks great. These are the piccies they had on the wall by the bar.
Not only does the revamp of phase 2 look stunning, it will also address the shortage of seats at the moment.

Last time i spoke to Premier Team they seemed to think it would be opening sooner in spring rather than later but never came back with any confirmed dates..

Those pictures are on one of the walls in the CH. I remember that the hairdresser that was cutting my hair in OCT said that the old conservatory will be the penthouse/viewing area.

I really hope they put in some decent quiet/working space, like some office cubicles/carrels, as that's something that's really lacking in the current Phase 1.

The "office" that exists in Phase 1 is woefully inadequate from my point of view. The four desk carrels all have internet terminals, which is great, but that has the effect of them always being occupied by kids and others just idly surfing, and means there is no room to lay your stuff out (laptop, papers, etc.) if you want to do real work.

Unfortunately, I'm not always travelling on pleasure, and when that happens, I don't have time to kick back and appreciate the rest of the CH.

VS could take a leaf out of SAS book in Phase 2, with some London Lounge-esque glass or fabric partitioning. Mockups and frequent traveller feedback might have a role to play too.

Cheers!
Mike
