Ok, they weren't really water... I had one for a CPT-LHR last November, but didn't see them on my JFK-LHR flight in June.
Are they still in existence or have they gone the way of the red cushions? I thought they were nice.
Thanks,
David.

We didn't have them on our recent SFO / MCO flights.

Gone the way of the red cushions AFAIK ... havent had one on my last flight(s)
Why oh why did i not pinch one (along with a cushion)!!
You can find them on Ebay from time to time though .. i guess we may be forced to bring our own! Now theres an idea, get all the V-Flyers boarding UCS armed with their own red satin cushions!! LOL

When flying up front I normally need an ice pack over a hot water bottle!

Very true! Considering that it was about 30C when we left Cape Town and the cabin was warm enough ( but not hot ) , it was a unusual thing to have on board. It felt nice though. The crew member who gave me it said that many people liked to have them on their neck.
They can apparently be re-used ( sort of ) by popping into a jug of hot water for a few minutes.
Here's some interesting variations I found.... the red one does look very similar.
Thanks,
David.

Aren't we all acting a little like spilt brats??? I don't get to fly UC often enough to be nitpicking about the amenity kit.
Like the PJs though.....[:p]
