Guest Access to CH with PPS Club

Hi all,

It looks like I'm going to earn enough PPS sector points with Singapore Airlines to qualify for PPS membership when I return to London next week. Lots of nice benefits - not least A* Gold status and access to the Virgin Clubhouse.

However, although it makes clear I can take a guest with me into any Star Alliance lounge, it's not clear I can do the same with the Clubhouse. Anyone have a definite answer to this? I can always call Virgin and check of course!

Cheers,

Darryl

Hi Randalf,

Here's a quote from the V-Book

---

The following Virgin Clubhouses are allowed to be used by passengers holding Solitaire, PPS Club or Krisflyer Elite Gold membership cards who are traveling in `Y' Class with SQ, `W' Class with VS and `Y' Class with VS.

LHR, LGW, IAD, JNB, HKG, NRT

The EWR Clubhouse may only be used by SQ First Class passengers and Solitaire card holders. (Regardless of class of travel.)

RESTRICTIONS

- No guests are permitted.
- Each airline will only make its own boarding announcements in lounges. Please advise Singapore passengers that there will be no announcements for their flights in Virgin Clubhouses and vice versa.

REVIVALS

Singapore Airlines passengers traveling First Class on SQ322 SIN-LHR are able to use the Revivals Lounge.

Okay, I don't think the missus would be too happy if I waved her goodbye at the door, then! :)

Cements another decision I was going to make though - I've got the PPS points, but I'm going to claim the Miles and TP's with Virgin rather than give the miles to Diamond Club.

You'd think it was a no-brainer, but I was undecided due to it being easier for me to get back to Australia in Business Class (on holiday this time!) via miles + cash.

I love the fact that you can double dip, and get PPS points and miles and TPs for VS at the same time.

Yes, and to think I wasn't even going to bother to register with KrisFlyer since all my miles are going to go to Virgin! :D

I think I'll earn 5 TP's per flight I've made these last six weeks with Singapore Airlines, which I think, touchwood, means I make Gold when I cash them all in on my return! :)
