Hi, can't get onto the VA website - is anyone else having a problem or is it just me?
Cheers.

Me too !
Had huge problems getting on yesterday, and got bombed out when trying to book "MPM" fares last night.

I'm in it right now (having come out, and gone back in again to check). I'm able to search for reward flights, get revenue flight prices, the works.
No problems here [y]

I keep having a problem going straight into
http://www.virgin-atlantic.com, but If I go to
http://www.virginatlatic.com its fine and ends up in the same place anyway. Strange, but I have been having this for a few weeks.

I'm in now trying to book flights in Feb. Although it's working, it's not coming up with the answers I want i.e. 2 reward flights available to LAX and return on the dates I want [:(] Off to try more dates..... fingers crossed.

Yeah, I'm having the same problem as shazam. I want 8 reward seats to SFO in August, but it just keeps saying there's nothing available. [n]

Booked out to SFO and return from LAS reward flights.... ahhhhhhh
Not only that but got tickets to see the Sisters of Mercy in LAS on 16th Feb

:D (not from VS website I hasten to add LOL)
We were supposed to be away for my 40th birthday in January but honestly?! I really don't mind postponing that gem!
Sorry to go OT.

Maybe they're loading the Triple Miles promo...?

(although, I'm on it right now with no problem)
They've just removed the booking bonus links at the top of FlyingClub offers. (and a new broken link to Miles More Friends)

Yeah weird I am again. Pinging it still times out though. After entering FC number into phone system I am sent into a limbo.

I've noticed a few times, after logging into my FC account, then clicking the 'Update Booking' icon, it doesn't find any of my bookings, as the web sites logs me out of my FC account [?]
It's working OK now.....Wow, after doing a transfer from BAA WorldPoints at 15:45 today, I've just logged in at 16:45 and the 500 FC miles are in my account already....and I thought Amex transfers were fast!!!

Uh oh...
Now it's back up, my flight tomorrow's gone AWOL. Can't even pull it up by PNR/Surname...[:?]

I've always found that sometimes it needs all the information to find my flights and other times they're right there waiting for me!

Well, just spoke with them.
Aparently, a few people have had issues with bookings associated with a Flying Club number. They're working on it... [:?]

Just tried to look for flights, not working again and directing me to contact reservations.

I wonder if that's why I haven't had my E-Ticket yet? I booked the flights and went straight into the manage bookings on the website on Friday and everything was there (including my now very sad looking 40k miles left in my account [:(]) and the lady said I should get an E-Ticket the next day but nothing yet [:(]
Is it too soon to panic?

When is your booking for? If it is for more than 3 months away I wouldn't worry yet...

6 weeks on Saturday and counting

I'll give them a call if I haven't got anything by the end of the week, it's happened before and they have just sent it when I rang and asked. To be honest last time we had paper tickets and they didn't come until the week before.
If I hadn't seen it on the website last week I might be concerned but since I not only saw it but changed my seats too I'm not really worried. Excited yes! but not in a panic yet

Thanks

Seems ther are problems again tonight with update bookings on the VS web site, as it wont bring up my bookings based on my FC number. I can view my SYD booking by entering the info manually, but my DXB booking in March cannot be found at all.
Edit - Looks like the reason why DXB flights arn't showing is schedule changes on both the VS400 and the VS401 [:I]

There was some maintenance work being done on the Oracle database that forms Flying Club in late December, not sure if that is having a knock on effect.
Decker, what number are you calling as you should not be prompted for a FC number at all!
Thanks,
Richard

'Twas Premier Line - usual press 2 if you know your FC number. Seems it was a bug with my new VOIP Softphone...
