Traveling outbound LHR-MIA on VS "G" class reward tickets. Is it normal to book clubhouse beauty treatments in advance or is it first come/ fist served? Also, the MIA flight departs LHR at 11:30AM. Is the CH at LHR generally busy from 9AM-11AM? It will be a Wednesday.

And as for the Revivals Lounge, we arrive from MIA at 8:30AM and then have a long 1ayover. It will be a Sunday morning at LHR. I would imagine the Revivals lounge will not be very busy. Agree?

Now, if my sometimes dodgy memory serves me correctly, at LHR it's first come first served, at LGW you can pre-book.

09:00 - 11:00 is busy for the the clubhouse. You've the last few stragglers from the JFK, mixed with the SFO's, the LAX's, the IADs, and of course the rest of the MIA's with a few conx pax from the HKG and JNB going on to the other VS services thrown in for good measure.

You can pre-book LHR treatments by either email or phone. Details are here, at the bottom of the page - restricted to only UC or Gold passengers, not guests.

If you know the treatment you want, it's worthwhile pre-booking. However, last Thursday, I just walked up and got a slot with no problem. 9-11 is a relatively busy time - lots of people coming and going, although Cowshed/B&B didn't seem exactly crowded last week between 8:30 and 10:20.

Revivals never seems *that* crowded in the morning - so you should be fine.

Revivals was plenty busy the last time I was in at 7:30am (had to wait a while for a free shower). However on a Sunday is should be much calmer without the business crowd.

I've actually struggled over the last few months getting a shave in Revivals. I used to never have a problem when the process was just to as the therapist directly, at most waiting 30 mins to get an appointment. However, ever since they instituted their new scheduling system when they ask you at the door, I have been told I would have to wait over 60-90 mins. I'm not sure if it's because the treatments are more popular, or because by asking at the door they are prompting people to get treatments who were not aware of the service or they are doing fewer treatments.
