The VH homepage on the "flights" page/link says miles are not included on the UC upgrade, I was sure I still got miles last time, has something changed? I know my upcoming flights with VH are booked in "z"

It's always been there, it's always been wrong to my knowledge. All VH Upper/PE flights earn mileage.

That's the answer I've been looking for Paul. So, just to get it straight, every UC/PE flight earns mileage, even if they are flights for which miles have been used to upgrade[?]

Every flight that you PAY for (entirely) in PE or Upper earns miles, without exception.
If you PAY for a PE flight, and upgrade to Upper with MILES, you earn PE mileage.
If you PAY for a PE flight, and upgrade to Upper with CASH, you earn Upper mileage.
Miles + Money are obviously not paid for entirely by cash, and therefore do not earn miles.

If you upgraded with miles you earn further miles in the original class you booked to fly in.
Ohh. I see I have been beaten to it[:#]

So, to continue the argument: pay for Y, upgrade with miles to PE = Y mileage?
