Thank you all again for your great suggestions for London Hotels! I realized that I can stay for free at several Marriott properties and wonder if any of you may offer opinions. They are:

London Marriott Grosvenor Square
Grosvenor House
Renaissance Chancery Square
London Marriott County Hall

Not being at all familiar with London, not sure if any of these are worth pursuing as an alternative to spending 300-500 pounds per night?

Thank you again for your advice!

I am glad to hear that you found fellow V-Flyers helpful.

In answer to your question,

The first two put you in the heart of the shopping district and the last is on the opposite side of the River Thames to the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.

If you wany shopping - go for the first two, for sightseeing and the potential of a great view, opt for the last (even as a Londoner it would be my choice;))

Thanks for the advice! I booked the County Hall location for 35000 points and a 50GBP upgrade for a Riverview Room with Access to Executive Lounge.

Nice one[y][y]

This is the view you see in all the movies, with Big Ben across the River - pity we don't get the London fog these days;);)
