Expedia Seat Check

Not so long ago, you could go onto expedia and create a 'dummy' flight to see which seats were available on a particular flight before you actually booked it- barring of course the exits which never show up anyway, sometimes not even before the day of a flight. Now, not only can u not see which seats are available but you are not even allowed to choose where to sit once you have booked!![n]

Something to do with security ?

Topic moved by mod to "Travel-General" as this applies to airline seating in general. Thanks. -ChuckC

Are you certain you checked the box that allows you to select your own seats? Also, on the main flight selection screen there is now a link to "preview seat availability" which clearly shows which seats are open.

You might try my earlier suggestion re: the main flight selection page, following the link for "preview seat availability".

By the way, this is off-topic but I'm always curious about the origination of member names. Yours is intriguing. Mind sharing what it means?

Am I dreaming or is that an Engine type or part number or something to do with Aircraft engines?
