Hi,

I noticed that NZ has now been added to seatguru.com, and had a wee sneaky peek at the 747R seat map. They have a closet between seats 1 A&K. I was under the impression that these seats were very close together, and I can't see how they'd get a closet in there?

Would you rather have Virgin 2-4-2 on their LGW lower deck?[8D] I think not.
But, I do agree, I think PE should 2-2 at most (on the upper deck).

The thing with NZ's PE is that it's just a bigger seat pitch, and seperate cabin (like United, the seats are the same width as the Y seats).

I thought they would have done a 3-3 configuration like AF's 744s

There's no closet in the front bulkhead, SeatGuru is wrong. It's exactly the same as on the VS 744.

The NZ Premium Economy product actually has a slightly different seat to that fitted in economy. They do look similar, as they appear to be from the same manufacturer/family. On the 744 they are slightly wider, but on the 777, I think the width is the same.

I'll see if I can have a sneak back into the Premium Economy cabin on the 777 on Saturday and see how the food service differs.

Cheers,
Mike
