Hi there,
I'm flying with my girlfriend to Mombasa, Kenya, with FCA in their Star Class Premier cabin at the end of April. I was wondering if anyone on this board has experience of this flight and might be able to shed some light/offer any advice on what we can expect. Also, I was wondering if it is likely to be on one of their new 767s?
If anyone can help out with some insight it'd be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Greg

Greg.
I am also flying with FCA in that class at the beginning of May. I thing you will be pleasantly suprised. I rate it higher than VA's new PE but not as good as the old PE (seat wise). Also the food is better and presented better. I hope you get one of the new planes as they are really quiet up front.

Thanks Tony à that's great to know. I'm a bit of a nervous flyer, but on the odd occasion I've enjoyed a bit of 'luxury' it's been quite a soothing experience à cheers.

I should probably add an update to this à a little late, but better late and all thatÉ
Anyway, we flew Star Premier direct to Mombasa from London with FCA and it was BY FAR the best flying experience I've had (I haven't flown A LOT, but I've easily been on more than 100 planes in my life and visited NZ, US, Oz, blah blah blah) Ã sat in the 2nd row of the aircraft on the way out and in the 4th on the way back. You are effectively sitting where First Class passengers would be sitting on a larger scheduled aircraft, and virtually no noise from engines or anywhere else, plus fabulous and spacious leather seats, loads of room and great food (plus an acceptable, though limited, choice of movies etc). I've flown Virgin Premium Economy before, and I've got to say this was a superior experience. If they up their game accordingly, so much the better for all of us, I say.

Glad you enjoyed that, please add a trip report! BTW there are a few other FCA trip reports if you simply search for 'FCA' and although too late this would have provided more information.
