Hi,

Do I need to let them know my change of flying card number (i recently went from red -> silver). Surely any credits to my old red card number will end up in the same account?

Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks in advance [y]

Alex.

Well points created to the old account number get forwarded to the new silver or gold account. All your flying club account numbers are linked in the magical VS FC computer system.

I updated my FC number with Hilton, Amex and other when it changed. My number changed when I was traveling this winter on SQ and the point pointed ontime (I mean the as wheels touched the runway, that fast) and correctly even to my old red number.

I do not know if you should tell the CC people but a ring never hurts.

As Ben says, the VS accounts are linked so it shouldn't be a problem.

It doesn't work the other way round though. If you change your CC number after it has been lost or stolen, MBNA don't seem to be able to link the new account to your FC account. [:(!]
