Ryanair has trouble again

A ryanair flight was diverted after the crew were told there might be a bomb on board. See here.[:?]

Im sorry to say that this is the world we live in,some idiot decides that it would be fun to call in a threat or pass a note in this case and mess with 100+ people's live's...the same thing just happened to the QE II

No blame on Ryanair for this one, though.

I agree with jetwet1, about the idiot.

If the note originated from someone on board, it will be interesting to see how long the Scottish police spend interviewing the pax... and what they do if one of the pax turns out to be responsible for it. [:(!][:(!]

The thing is - all airlines will have them- there is still this thing abotu alcohol and air rage and to be honest it will evntually lead to a ban on alcohol in ceratin areas - maybe hitting Y first - although it often seems that the trouble makers sit in the pointy bit ( no blame attached to anyone on this site tho!!)

I also think that some airlines are too lax at check in when allowing people who have been drinking on a plane - I was once on a BA flight where they guy sat in the exit seat was clearly drunk - what fun in an emergency eh?
