http://www.iht.com/articles/2006/04/24/business/seats.phpimho i think this is risky and potentially dangerous idea. it just shows how airlines are more concerned with money than with passengers.

Well is directed at Asian flights according to CNN Headline news. Not really bad for a short hop.

I've got a very sore back today, and that actually looks like a very comfortable option.... Of course there's a limit to the length of the flight I'd want to do. However, if securely strapped in I reckon I could sleep better than in a Y seat![:o)]

Till you hit the first bit of heavy turbulence and your knee's start taking a pounding.
Thinking about it a little, could be fun on a very short hop,but anything over 30 mins and forget it,oh and where would the luggage bins go? would I have to pay extra for an extra headroom seat?

This is stupid. Animal cargo gets better conditions than this. I wonder if these breaches any companies H&S policies as my company's are very strict and I think it would be a fine line.

I don't know - the idea of my son being strapped in with a harness sounds quite attractive to me - as long as it came with a padlock!!

I assume this will currently apply to asian carriers that like to pack them in on short hops. Of course it does set a worrying trend - still interesting times are ahead!
