Hi all,
Have been pondering whether the annual membership fee is value for money and would be interested in hearing from current members. Are the prices noticeably cheaper than, say, Expedia or booking direct? And which lounges at LHR are available for Wexas-based travel?
Cheers,
Darryl

May not answer the specific questions you list here, but there are a few older threads on here relating to Wexas that you might want to look through.
Main one here, plus
this one.

I cancelled this year, but I still have access to the members website[}:)],they sometimes have the odd fantastic offerthat would more than pay for membership, they have some good transatlantic AA J and F fares at the moment.

Thanks for the info, chaps. How often do offers come around on Virgin metal, would you say? And what LHR lounges are available for access?
Cheers,
Darryl

LHR lounges are,
London Heathrow (Terminal 1) - Servisair Executive Lounge
London Heathrow (Terminal 2) - Servisair Executive Lounge London Heathrow (Terminal 3) - Servisair Executive Lounge
London Heathrow (Terminal 4) - Holideck Lounge
Not seen many VS offers apart from the extra miles one, they did have some good PE fares last year,UC fares were no better than you could get on expedia. At the moment it's BA WT+ they have an offer on.

If you're a VS fan then Wexas probably = extra cost for little benefit ... I've been a member in the past however I think the value proposition is in information and service rather than cost. If you have the time, and the brainpower, you can (IMHO) get all the same information yourself.
Fpr AA, UA and other similar carriers Wexas still has some clout to offer deals ... what are you interested in getting from it?
