No A380 PE for Quantas?

It was rumoured that Quantas were introducing a form of PE on their A380s:)
It is now rumoured that after getting everyone's hopes up, this will not be the case[V]
Presumably they want to remain an old-fashioned stick-in-the-mud, 1980's airline, like BA used to be. I remember in the early 90's a BA salesman telling me they would never under any circumstances copy VS's Mid Class as it then was![:w]

They didnt copy it after all they called it world traveler plus!![:p]

Never flown Quantas - and given SQ's excellent relationship with VS probably wont - well unless I get a One World urge later in life[:0]

Oye, I am turn into, hmm well anyway. 'Quantas' is an abbreviation for Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services. So 'Quantas' is just a function of crazy grammar school teachers saying that a 'q' must by followed by a 'u.' Well not in abbreviations. The name of the airlines is QANTAS.

The name of the airlines is QANTAS.

Fair point..
Regarding grammar and spelling I think you meant to say the name of the airline is QANTAS[:p];)

Well the historic name roots back to Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services Limited; as originally registered. Later got shorted and assumably abbreviated to Qantas. Current the legal name of the airline is Qantas Airways Limited. They are currently traded on the Australian Stock Exchange under QAN. In anycase, without the 'u.'

Looks like VS will be the only A380 operator with PE. SQ is not offereing Exec. Economy. Sad really.
