OLCI - Ryanair

There had been hints on the Ryanair website that OLCI was on its way but I didn't take much notice. Then this evening when I arrived home I found an email from them saying that I could do OLCI 72 hours in advance and what was more I could print my boarding card. This email was no doubt generated by the fact that I am flying to DUB on Saturday. What is more I could print my boarding pass [y]

I tried it and it worked like a dream. It was dead simple. I inputted my confirmation number and passport details and bingo! I was checked in. I was then re-directed to an Adobe Acrobat page to print off my boarding pass. Easy-peasy!

It should be noted that the only form of ID is a passport on this occasion and I am required to show it at security but I can see a huge benefit. I am sequence number 2 for the flight. That means I can leave home a little bit later on Saturday and still be among the first to board [y].

Where I really do see the benefit, though is for the business flights to and from DUB. We were used on Aer Lingus and then on Aer Arann to be able to check in in the morning and get our boarding passes for the return flight. With the advent of Ryanair on that route that was denied to us but now it's back. Yay!! [^]

Roll on tomorrow when I shall be able to check in for my return flight!!

Also the ID needs to from the EU or Economic Area so Ozzys or Yank are SOL :).

Certianly handly for most of there clients.
