B-A's NEW 777's or is it a error?

Browsing on the B-A website looking for info on the new A,V,O,D I came across this suspicious statement. "The long haul fleet of Boeing 747 and new 777 aircraft are being fitted with the Rockwell Collins Total Entertainment System (TES) technology with up to 18 channels of entertainment depending on your class of travel".

To my knowledge the last 777 delivered to B-A was October 2001 making this along with 4 others that year that makes 5 of them 5years old. Are they referring to these aircraft as NEW 777's or is the announcement on the web link below telling us something that is not yet in the public domain??

According to Boeing at present there are 20 777's on order with unidentified customers. Are any of these aircraft heading the way of B-A? Or did someone in their web design department mistakenly put new instead of newest??

Any way here is the link make of it what you will.

B-A NEW 777's? sorry this link only works if you are a B-A on-line member.[:#]
Cheers Wayne:D

I think they're referring to the current 777s. However I did make a post in this forum a while ago about British Airways securing delivery spots for 10 777-300ERs.

Its a bit odd to call 5 aircraft new and why would they not upgrade the other 777's? Interesting one to watch i think.
