Just received this press release at work, don't think this has been covered before - ran a search and couldn't find anything >>

Oasis Hong Kong Airlines are due to take off from Gatwick on 12 October with a 747-400 aircraft. Fares will start at £75 one-way, but you will need to book early to get those flights. A reservation number and website will be launched on 6th September - watch this space for further information! Or sign up on http://www.oasis-air.com to receive details direct.

Just for the future, this isn't in the correct forum. "News Bites" only applies for news relating to Virgin Atlantic.

Strictly speaking Nick you are right. No real harm done though, I am sure you will agree, and I am sure a mod will be along in a minute and kindly move it. Probably 'other airlines' would be the best spot.

They made the front page of the metro about 4 weeks ago with a story covering this! Am tempted to give them a go- i would imagine they will be rather like zoom are to canada.
