A little head scratcher for you.
Next year we are taking a trip down to the FIL's new house in Costa Rica.We are flying LAS-LIR a quick pricing found that both AA and CO were offering first /biz class flight for $850 RT [:0][y],not bad for an 8 hr flight.
Now it's been a while since I have been in either of these airlines first section, flying mainly HP of late.
By rule I would go with CO just to get the VS miles, but im sitting here thinking about my BA miles and maybe it would be worth sluming it on this cheap F fare just for the miles.
SO is AA first that bad is the question,im guessing these flights via Houston and Dallas wont be in true INT config.

CO. Tends to have better service and certian better meals. I know they have ice cream of EWR-SFO in First so I assume they have a great meal service on a international sector.
Also the miles/TPs on VS.

Well that sounds good. BA or SQ First; well I can dream

. Enjoy! Also I think the BA credit card has a 15,000 joining bonus so thats an extra 30K if you please.

Trust me after VS came up with the no USA credit card the BA go ordered staight away, two accounts, two loads of 15k miles extra [y]...of course the wife isn't going to be to happy with me burning all the miles [:I]
However it's also time I started building up the VS account again..down to 20k miles [:0]

Depends on what AA metal, the 767 F cabin is good and the service a little better, the 757 is the worst with the old brown leather seats. The 737-800 is not too bad, don't book the front row on any as it cuts the leg room down.Food has gone down hill over the last year, but out of 12 legs over the last 12 months only one bad flight.

Always been a CO guy myself - I don't go anywhere near the other US airlines;) I think that the service is a lot more reliable - although have never travelled in F with them[:?]
VS.

I've always had the feeling that I should really get up whenever the stewardess comes by on AA.
Kind of like when you're supposed to allow the elderly to sit down when travelling on a bus or train... [:w]
