Castille Sofitel Demeure Paris

Booked the Daught and I in for 5 days round Aug Bank holiday:) leaving himself at home[:(][}:)]
The hotel is on Rue Cambon in the first arondissment. Generally good reviews from tripadvisor, et al - but any personal views from our seasoned travellers? e.g best room numbers (we've booked a Deluxe Double), views on the Hotel's own restaraunt, good local restaurants in easy walking distance, etc. Have usually stayed in the 7th/15th arondissments before and only passed through here on the way to the Louvre, Vendome, Opera, etc.
