New York restaurant recommendations

Am off to New York in a couple of weeks for the weekend and looking for a couple of resturant recommendations please. Having been before, I'm considering 'Tao' for the Friday night but am stuck for a Saturday night choice. I have in mind somewhere I have seen pictures of - a restaurant with a great view over the Manhattan skyline but can't find any idea of what it is. Anyone know?
Any other suggestions on good NYC restaurants I can look into appreciated.
