Thanks daywalker - the guys on FT had made reference to short-haul reviews, but the longhaul product was unclear.

Specifically, here is the seat detail of what they're to install and here is the photo gallery.

Oh please, that is so J2000;)

Says in article that they are proud to be only british airline serving Riyadh - err...BA pulled out for safety and security reasons[:?]

BTW, thanks daywalker![y][^]:D

It's the updated version of the same seat chassis as SQ's Spacebed - AvioInteriors' "Eva" (this seat also appears in the F cabin on UA's "ps" Transcon service).

Trivia: SQ use almost entirely (if not 100%) AvioInteriors seating on their planes. The short/medium-haul (non-Spacebed) Raffles seats are a flavour of the "Andromeda" range.

Cheers,
Mike

Which kinda makes it a true statement?

I like to see all airlines increasing their standard, this will not quite put pressure on VS to do more - we'll wait to see what BA offer to do that. Competition is healthy!

Just shows how far ahead VS were in the seat stakes with J2000.

Slinky, I meant that they shouldn't be proud to just take on BA's rejects.;)
