Help Please

Having read previous comments re lack of miles being generated from Amex I sat down to work out my last statement I reckon I am about 3,000 miles missing.

Can anyone advise me what the formula is. I know that being a black card it generates 4 miles per transaction But what happens to the pence. Is it rounded down to the pound, rounded up over 50p etc etc.

Thanks in anticipation.

As I understand it, all miles are rounded down, so download the statement and just add up the £ figure, and not the pence. Multiply by 4 and you should have your miles.

A £9.99 transaction earns 9 miles.

Thanks for that[y]

Thats what I worked it out on, and as I said I seem to be just under 3,000 miles short.[^]

Will have to wait and see what happens NEXT month

its not 4 miles per pound as per Virgin Money web site this is only for card upgrades
I have ben battling to bet 4 miles per £ until July 2007 all to no avail
It was VF member that told me i'd get extra miles no such luck
