Yep. Oasis is all over the press today. Guess there is a new airline; Virgin Airlines.
Also: Was looking at SQ's KrisFlyer program today and the Virgin Atlantic award chart. Well the file that list the VS award's is named 'virgin_airlines.pdf'. If you own 49 percent of something you ought to know what its called. [}:)]

But couldn't Virgin Airlines refer to all of the Virgin Branded airlines? Atlantic, Blue, America, Nigeria etc etc. I wouldn't say that was a cardinal sin really.

I see your point but in the BBC article the author was writing about airlines that also fly the London-Hong Kong route (Virgin Atlantic) and the SQ award chart was for Virgin Atlantic awards.
Honestly it does not matter. The media makes errors about aerospace issues all the time. Most people do not notice.
