Hi,

I got a A4 envelope through the post tonight ( unmarked).
I opened it an inside was a letter from BA and a plastic bag ( the kind for taking liquids through airport security) with a guide from BAA on the liquids ( with an opening paragraph of " here is some refreshing news for all travellers")[:?]

I already got a couple of bags whilst just walking through LHR last weekend ( no liquids in my handbaggage)

Regards

TBS

Oh, God! A thought has suddenly struck me [:0] Given that the Scrooge pack is supposed to morph from an envelope to a shoe bag style thingy, do you think VS might do likewise and make the bag a plastic see-through bag?

Don't say something like that HL, someone might hear you;) Although VS did try that at one point in one the variations of scrooge packs, didn't they?

VS.

Count yourself lucky ... The TSA here in Orlando are sending passengers without the right size plastic bag to the Newsagents in the terminal to buy one [:(!]

No, I think that the shoe bag is to be the future incarnation of the Scrooge Pack - unless they decide to make it a see-through one. Come to think of it, the economy packs were one step short of being see-through

Weirdo ... I had one today too ... with a completely pointless covering letter and usual platitudes about how marvellous life would be if everyone had 100ml and a plastic bag! Actually that sounds like a sample!

..No doubt at $2.50 per bag.

Slinky - how can you say that! Life is not worth living without a plastic bag. Just think of all the things you are prevented from doing unless you have one:
1) You cannot carry a packed lunch
2) You can't be travel sick
3) You have nothing to use as a hat when walking in the rain

The list is endless.

I meant that the scrooge packs were in plastic bags at one stage;)

Well I suppose they may have been in plastic bags when they left the factory or wherever they were assembled [:p]

They were, yes. You got socks, earplugs and eyeshades in a little plastic baggie, instead of the cardboard envelope. ISTR this was mostly from downroute stations?

Cheers!
