I was just searching on youtube and discovered videos of an air france concorde landing and a BA concorde taking-off at HKG. I thought concorde only ever flew across the pond. Does anybody know when these flights were and when they stopped?

I never realised there were so many charter destinations[:0]

The closest I've ever come to Concorde is my Cross Concorde Collection pen - it's not the same really;)

VS.

There was an AF concorde landing in Rio de Janeiro [8D] in 'The Spy who Loved me' - whether it was really there or was a similar situation to the VS 346 in Prague for 'Casino Royale' I don't know, but there does seem to be a James Bond theme! :D

Considering the number of times it must have had to stop for fuel to some of those destinations and in days before direct routing Russian airways were open, i'm not sure it would have been any quicker than a 747.

The AF Concorde was seen delivering JB to Rio in Moonraker made in 1979 the next film after TSWLM (1977).This was the original scheduled AF Concorde service to GIG that began in 1976, BA's being to BAH.The plane in the film did really fly Roger Moore to the Rio shoot, after it landed he got off went straight to make-up and wardrobe and they filmed him deplaning while Concorde was being turned around.
