Super Bowl Weekend

I will be in New York over Super bowl XLI weekend (4th February).
Can anyone recommend anywhere to go and watch it? Do they set up big screens in any locations?

An awful lot will depend on what happens tonight.

Both the Jets and the Giants are playing wild card games, albeit both are away from home. The Jets are at the Patriots and the Giants are at the Eagles.

If one of the New York teams makes it to the big one (or heaven forbid - they both do), then the whole place will be crazy.

On the other hand if, for example it is a Seattle / San Diego Superbowl, then the interest on the East Coast will be far less.

It doesn't matter, Baltimore will win it anyway and bag my 40/1 bet on them in the process [:w][:p]

Both the New York teams lost last night, so that has taken some of the gloss of a possible New York party, but Superbowl Sunday is still a special evening, so I am sure there will be no shortage of places to watch the game.

I would have to say this place may be a pretty good place to be.

Well that depends on a couple of things...Will Seattle make it to the Super bowl [?] If they do then there is a slight chance of some fun to be had.

However..Seattle has no chance of making it...and the big thing..Richard..it's a bunch of computer nerds..how much mayhem do you think they can raise [:?]

Sorry but there is only one town to be in for Super Bowl and thats Vegas [y]

If I'm in NY as i am planning I will probably be in the control room at CBS from where it will be broadcast. [:p]

I've been in Vegas before for the SuperBowl. Nuts is an understatement. At least the shops were quiet!

Thanks,
Richard
