I've booked a few flights and hotels for across the US and Canada. All were booked on my VS AMEX but only the two from Canada have not appeared in my recent purchases.

Does anyone know if purchases from Canada do take longer to appear in my Credit Card account?

Technically foreign payments can take up to a month to hit an account. Could be down to the fact that the canadian payments have had to go through two conversions and so may take a little longer to sort out.

Every time I go to Vancouver or Victoria there are certain Amex charges which show up late - as much as a month later. Others show up in three days or so. Many Canadian companies still manually process charges, and that takes extra time. Don't worry about it, the charges will eventually show up.
