Direct flights MAN to JNB

Is anyone aware of a new service starting with direct fligths from MAN to JNB?
If so is it a charter or scheduled?

The only service I am aware of is FlyGlobespan's winter service to CPT.
Cannot believe a charter operator would be interested in JNB....

A friend of mine mentioned that he read in the paper!
I was quite surprised by it as well - we know how SAA hang onto those slots at JNB!

I did hear somewhere- may have been pprune which isnt too reliable- that GSM were looking at MAN-JNB as well.

The globespan website shows JNB as a destination from MAN. Sunday and Thursday departures starting in November.

JNB is a different market to CPT. They're going to need to forge strong links to get their flights bulit in package tours asap to get seats filled I feel...

I maybe wrong but I cannot see them selling huge numbers of flight only's like CPT....
