Read in the latest 'Airliner World' magazine that Jet2 are to intorduce the hire of IFE systems to all its passengers.

For a £5 hire charge passengers will have access to hours and hours of TV programmes, videos and music tracks. It will be a hand-held unit with a 7" screen and complimetary headphones.

A good move if you ask me...especially for the Canaries flights it operates which are 4hrs.

You'll probably develop DVT on their canaries flights, their seat pitch is bloomin tight! Only used them for Prague and Amsterdam and Prague pushed me to my limit in their seats.

I like jet2, it's now my choice of airline when work send me to LBA (beats those crop dusters BE use...). Not that I'll ever use the IFE but it's good to see they are trying to make a mark
